Commenting on Blogs > How do I comment on an item or a blog post?

First, you need to register or login in order to have that function available to you. The Register link at the very top of the B4UCIT home page will allow you to register if you do not already have an account. If you already have an account then simply use the Sign In link next to the Register link at the top of the page.

Viewing Items/ Designers > How do I take a closer look at an item?

The quicklook link that appears as you run the mouse over an item will bring up a larger picture of the original for you. Another option is to click on the picture. This action will also bring you to another page with a larger picture of the item, the price, and links to the artist's/ designer's profile page or other items by the same designer.

Viewing Items/ Designers > Is there a way to just view items by specific designers?

Yes, the Designers tab at the top of the page in the red section will take you to a page with a list of designers arranged alphabetically. You may also use the search bar on this page to search for a specific designer. “How?” you may ask. Simply type the designer's store name in the search bar with the text to the left that reads “keyword” then click Search.

Viewing Items/ Designers > How do I search for members on the website?

To search for members on B4UCIT , click on the Members tab at the top of the page in the red section. This tab will take you to another page with a search bar where you will type in the member’s name of whom you are looking for. You may also look for the member in the alphabetical list.

Shopping Cart > Once I have added an item to my shopping cart, how do I view my shopping cart?

The view shopping cart link with the image of a shopping cart at the top right of the page will take you directly to your shopping cart.

Shopping Cart > How do I delete unwanted items out of my shopping cart?

The trashcan image at the far left side of the row will delete the corresponding item out of your shopping cart.

Shopping Cart > What if I want to buy more than one of the same items if they are available?

Use the view shopping cart link to take you to your shopping cart. Then in the white box under the “Qty.” title change the number to your desired amount and click update to the right of the box and click the blue "Update" link. The updated total and quantity will appear.

Purchasing and Orders > Once I am done shopping and I want to check out, what do I do?

Click on the “View Shopping Cart” link at the top right of the page. Once you are in your shopping cart you can go to the bottom of the page and choose “check out”. This will take you to another page where you you will be asked to choose one of three options: "I have an account", "I need an account", or “I don’t want an account” to continue with the check out process. If you have an account, choose the first option to log-in then continue checking out. If you do not have and account and wish to have one choose the second option to create an account. Once you are finished creating your account, you can continue checking out. However, if you do not have an account and do not wish to have one at this time, choose the last option. If you are purchasing from more than one designer, You will have to check out separately for each designer. You will complete the check out process the same for each designer. This process is very helpful if you wish to use different methods of payment for each item or designer. You will have option to pay using PayPal or a credit card. It will also give you the chance to split your money between different charities when you check out items for different designers.

Memberships > I’ve decided that I want a membership. How do I register for a membership?

Registering for a membership is fast and simple. The register button at the top of the site will take you to another page where you may choose to between a “Member” or “Store” registration. Below each title is a brief description of each membership’s privileges. Choose the membership that best suits your needs. If at any point in time you wish to change to another membership that is fine. All you have to do is come back to this page and register for the alternative membership.
