B4UCIT.com is owned by B4UCIT, LLC, a Wisconsin Limited Liability Company (“B4UCIT”, or “we”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal information for all services provided on the B4UCIT web site (the “B4UCIT Services”).

By accepting the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use Agreement in registration (becoming a “Member”), or, if a non-registered visitor to the site (a “Visitor”), by using the B4UCIT Services, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Members and Visitors are collectively referred to hereafter as “Users”.

This Privacy Policy is effective upon its posting to the web site. From time to time B4UCIT may modify this Privacy Policy. Such modifications shall be effective upon posting by B4UCIT on the B4UCIT Website. The continued use of the B4UCIT Services 30 days after B4UCIT posts a revised Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

B4UCIT does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age.

Collection of Information: Users consent to the collection and storage by B4UCIT of all personal information provided voluntarily during the registration process and all other information obtainable by us through a User’s use of the B4UCIT Services. Examples of information which B4UCIT may collect and store include but are not limited to:

• email address, physical contact information, and (depending on the service used) sometimes financial information, such as credit card or bank account numbers;
• transactional information based on your activities on the site, such as bidding, buying, selling, item, and content you generate or that relates to your account;
• shipping, billing and other information you provide to purchase or ship an item;
• community discussions, chats, dispute resolution, correspondence through our site, and correspondence sent to us;
• computer, browser and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the site, ad data, IP address and standard web log information;
• information from other companies, such as demographic and traffic data;
• other supplemental information from third parties;
• usage information, such as when you use B4UCIT, the channels, groups, and favorites you subscribe to, the contacts you communicate with, the videos you watch, and the frequency and size of data transfers, as well as information you display or click on; and
• Clear GIFs (a.k.a. "Web Beacons") in HTML-based emails may be sent to Users to track which emails are opened by recipients.
  

Information Available to the Public: All personal information or content posted on the site by Users is done at the User’s sole discretion and risk. This information becomes publicly available, can be collected and used by others and may appear indexed in search engines. Users may also browse such information to connect with other Members. Registration and profile information may be changed at any time, and Members may control how other Users communicate with them through their account settings. Examples of information publicly available at the site include the following:

• Upon completing registration, some information about your account and your account activity will be provided to other Users of the site. This may include the date you became a Member, the date you last logged into your account, your age (if you choose to make it public), the country you reside in, the number of videos you have watched or items you have purchased, feedback on items you have purchased, etc.. 
• Your account name or “Member ID” (not your email address) is displayed to other Users when you engage in certain activity on the site, such as uploading videos, sending messages, and bidding on items. Other Users can contact you through messages and comments.
• You may choose to post personal information that will be visible to other Users on your profile page. This may include a profile picture, your name, gender, relationship status, email address or other details.
• If you choose to add certain features to your profile page, then these features and your activity associated with them may be displayed to other Users and may be aggregated and shared with your confirmed friends or other Users.
• Any videos that you submit to the site may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public.

Your Member ID is your unique identifier while using the B4UCIT Services. All of your activities on the site are traceable to your Member ID. Other people can see your bids, items that you have purchased in the past, items for sale, feedback, ratings, videos posted, the content on your profile page and associated comments. Notices may be sent to other Members regarding suspicious activity and policy violations on our site, and such notices will refer to Member IDs and specific items. Therefore, be advised that if you associate your name with your Member ID, the people to whom you have revealed your name will be able to personally identify your activities.

If a Member who is located outside of the United States chooses to post information to their profile page that will be publicly disclosed, that Member is responsible for ensuring that such information conforms to all local data protection laws. B4UCIT is not responsible under the EU local data protection laws for Member-posted information.

Information Disclosed During Auctions: B4UCIT enables Members to share personal and financial information to complete transactions. We encourage you to disclose your privacy practices and respect the privacy of other Users. We cannot guarantee the privacy or security of your information and therefore we encourage you to evaluate the privacy and security policies of your trading partner before entering into a transaction and choosing to share your information. To help protect your privacy, we allow only limited access to other Users' contact, shipping and financial information to facilitate your transactions. When Members are involved in a transaction, they may have access to each other's name, User ID, email address and other contact and shipping information. In all cases, you must give other Members a chance to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them.

You agree to use User information only for:

• B4UCIT transaction-related purposes that are not unsolicited commercial messages;
• using services offered through B4UCIT; or
• other purposes that a User expressly chooses.

You agree that we may use your personal information to:

• provide the services and customer support you request;
• resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems;
• prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and enforce our Terms of Use Agreement;
• customize, measure and improve our services, content and advertising;
• tell you about targeted marketing, service updates, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences; and
• compare information for accuracy, and verify it with third parties.

B4UCIT may allow its employees, agents and contractors access to the personal information of Users if a business reason exists to do so. B4UCIT may share your personal information with those who help us manage or provide B4UCIT Services information activities or with outside contractors, agents or sponsors who help us with promotion of the site. These outside contractors, agents or sponsors may temporarily store some Member information on their servers, but they may only use it to provide B4UCIT with a specific service and not for any other purpose. B4UCIT may also provide your personal information to third parties in those instances where you have chosen to receive certain information and have been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of your personal information. B4UCIT may also share your personal information with its affiliates if it has a business reason to do so.

B4UCIT may customize the advertising and marketing messages you receive on the B4UCIT Website, or may work with outside companies to do so. Your non-personal information (information not related to name, address, email, or billing), including site usage information, may be shared with these companies so this customization can be accomplished. B4UCIT prohibits these companies from sharing your information with any third party or from using it for any other purpose.

B4UCIT may disclose personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety.

We may also share your personal information with:

• Members of our corporate family to help detect and prevent potentially illegal acts and provide joint content and services (for example, registration, transactions and customer support). Our corporate affiliates will send marketing communications only to Users who request these services.
• Service providers under contract who help with our business operations (such as fraud investigations, bill collection, affiliate and rewards programs and co-branded credit cards).
• Other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom you are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service).
• Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, state, zip code, telephone number, email address, User ID history, IP address, fraud complaints, and bidding and listing history.
• Individuals or entities to whom we in our sole discretion believe it necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
• Other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity.

Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy and our ability to keep the community free from bad actors, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

Cookies: A cookie is a piece of data stored on the User's hard drive containing information about the User.  Cookies, clear gifs, and log file information may be used by B4UCIT to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the B4UCIT site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (e) track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.

Cookies may be used on this site to allow for movement between secure sections. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifying information while on the site. If a User rejects the cookie, they may still use the site, but they may be limited in what areas or B4UCIT Services they are able to access.

Third party advertisements displayed on the B4UCIT site may also contain cookies set by Internet advertising companies or advertisers (known as “third party cookies”). B4UCIT does not control these third party cookies and Users of the B4UCIT Services should check the privacy policy of the internet advertising company or advertiser to see whether and how it uses cookies.

A pixel tag is a tiny image inserted in a webpage and used to record the number and types of views for that page. B4UCIT may allow third party pixel tags to be present on B4UCIT Services for purposes of advertising, providing services or data and statistics collection.
